I, too, was at Karen Davis' Memorial... I must have met you! (I came up from Florida.) Karen Davis was a great loss to those of us that want the horrible cruelty of factory farming stopped. She was our loudest, most intelligent and best, voice!!! She dedicated her life to ending factory farming! I die inside every time I think of the horrific suffering that chickens "live in" their whole lives! It's making me crazy that we Americans let it exist! "Out of Sight... Out of Mind!" It's through photographers like you, and public speakers/fighters like Karen, that the world learns the truth! How do we stop it or even just put limits on it of some kind? I passed several factory poultry farms on the way to Karen's home. There were no signs out front identifying them for what they were. From the outside, a passerby could never imagine the "horrors behind their closed doors"! We need to keep this horror in the Public's eye! I will help you get your new drone so that you can keep the photos of the truth in Public view! Please keep your "focus" on ending the suffering of animals that need your/our efforts the most! It MUST be STOPPED!!! Thank you for showing the truth that is so carefully hidden from our view behind anonymous, closed doors!!! Expose the horror to the world! Stay "focused"!!!

Thank you for coming to her memorial all the way from Florida. Maybe we met, but I don't know. Karen was really an amazing voice and I miss her voice a tremendous amount. It definitely feels like there's a void in the world without her in it. Thank you in advance for your help with me fundraising for the drone.

No pressure to donate. The GoFundMe actually achieved it's goal, but I've left it up incase anyone else wants to donate because the drone I was fundraising for is called the DJI Air 3, but the Air 3S is coming out soon which will be an improved model and it'll cost more.

When I read the words from your talk at Karen's burial I immediately thought "that's me!" So many times I have walked through a grocery store and thought that even with all of the current meat/dairy alternatives there's still such a lack of willingness to change on the part of the public. I don't expect change anytime soon. But I will continue to participate in my activism anyway, hoping to help any animal that I can by my choices. Thanks for your work for the animals and for helping me to know I'm not alone.

I approach shoppers in the egg department and as quickly as possible I try to encourage them to buy "pasture raised" eggs from small farms and why... I have yet to make a convert. Until the horrors of factory farming are fully exposed, I fear it will continue and only get worse. People still insist on buying drinking water in plastic bottles, and the cheapest eggs and meat. Chickens are amazing creatures but most people have absolutely no respect or sympathy for them. Sigh. Raising my own chickens were the happiest days of my life! "Bonding" goes both ways!

The eggs marked "pasture raised" can easily be just as bad as what you'd think of the conventional eggs. Pasture raised is not really regulated and it's easy for chickens living in nearly any conditions to have the pasture raised label. It's usually nothing more than a marketing gimmick and even in the best circumstances the chickens are still coming from the same hatcheries regardless of what kind of farm they end up at and they are generally still being killed at 1.5 to 2 years of age, plus they are all enduring having to lay about 300 eggs per year instead of the natural and normal 10-15 eggs per year. I'd suggest checking out my first Substack article on here (The Dumbest Thing I Believed In To Do: Humane Meat) to get more insight into the humane hoax. I'd also recommend reading Hope Bohanec's books such as The Humane Hoax and The Ultimtae Betrayal. Karen was also a fierce advocate against so-called "humane" farming and she stated that it's all factory farming, which I agree with.
